🔔 Overview

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released the official notification for the recruitment of Head Constable {Assistant Wireless Operator (AWO)/Tele-Printer Operator (TPO)} in Delhi Police 2025. Applications will be accepted online only via the SSC website ssc.gov.in. Both male and female candidates from across India are eligible to apply.

📌 Eligibility Criteria

  • Nationality: Must be a citizen of India.

  • Age Limit: 18 to 27 years as on 01-07-2025 (i.e. born between 02-07-1998 and 01-07-2007).

    • OBC: +3 years, SC/ST: +5 years, ESM & departmental relaxations as per rules.

  • Educational Qualification:

    • 10+2 (Science with Mathematics) from a recognized board OR

    • NTC (Mechanic-cum-Operator Electronic Communication System).

  • Other Requirements:

    • Proficiency in computer operation (Word Processing Test & Basic Computer Functions).

📚 Exam Scheme

The selection will be carried out in multiple stages:

  1. Computer Based Examination (CBE) – 100 marks

    • Duration: 90 minutes

    • Negative Marking: 0.25 per wrong answer

📝 Application Process

  1. Visit ssc.gov.in or use the mySSC mobile app.

  2. Complete One-Time Registration (OTR) on the new SSC portal.

  3. Fill in the Online Application Form carefully.

  4. Capture a real-time photograph as per instructions.

  5. Upload signature in the prescribed format.

  6. Pay the fee (₹100) via online mode (UPI, Net Banking, Debit/Credit Card).

  7. Submit the application and download a copy for reference.
