📌 Eligibility Criteria

🔹 Nationality

  • Candidate must be an Indian citizen or possess nationality as prescribed under Rule 7 of Gujarat Civil Services Classification and Recruitment (General) Rules, 1967.

🔹 Educational Qualification

Candidate must possess any one of the following:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.),
    OR

  • Diploma in Pharmacy with approximately two years of experience as:

    • Junior Pharmacist in Government / Government Undertaking / Board, or

    • Dispenser in hospitals or dispensaries, or

    • Pharmacist or Medical Representative in a pharmaceutical company established under the Companies Act, 2013.

Additionally, the candidate must:

  • Have basic knowledge of computer applications

  • Have adequate knowledge of Gujarati or Hindi or both

  • Be registered with Gujarat State Pharmacy Council at the time of appointment (if not already registered)

💰 Pay Scale / Salary

  • First Five Years:
    Fixed pay of ₹40,800 per month

  • After Completion of Five Years:
    Pay Scale ₹29,200 – ₹92,300 (Level-5) as per 7th Pay Commission, subject to:

    • Satisfactory service

    • Applicable Government resolutions

    • Outcome of Hon’ble Supreme Court cases SLP No.14124/2012 & SLP No.14125/2012

Selection will be through a single-stage competitive examination consisting of objective MCQ questions, conducted via CBRT / OMR mode.
