The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) Combined Higher Secondary Level (CHSL) exam is a national-level recruitment exam conducted by the SSC. It's primarily for recruiting candidates with a Higher Secondary (10+2) qualification for various clerical and non-technical posts in the central government. These posts include Lower Division Clerk (LDC), Junior Secretariat Assistant (JSA), Postal Assistant (PA), Sorting Assistant (SA), and Data Entry Operator (DEO) in different ministries and departments.

📘 SSC CHSL Syllabus 2025
The SSC CHSL Tier-I 2025 is the first step toward securing a government job through the Combined Higher Secondary Level (10+2) Examination. It is conducted as a Computer-Based Test (CBT) and includes four subjects: English Language, Quantitative Aptitude, General Intelligence, and General Awareness.

✅ Eligibility Criteria (as of 2025)
Nationality: Candidates must be citizens of India, subjects of Nepal or Bhutan, or Tibetan refugees who came to India before January 1, 1962, with the intention of permanent settlement, or persons of Indian origin who have migrated from specified countries to permanently settle in India.
SSC CHSL 2025 Age Limit and Relaxation Criteria
The age limit for SSC CHSL posts is set between 18 to 27 years as of 1st January 2025. Therefore, candidates born between 2nd January 1999 and 1st January 2008 (both dates inclusive) are eligible to apply.

Candidates must have passed the 12th Standard or equivalent examination from a recognized Board or University.
✅ For DEO Grade 'A' in C&AG (Comptroller and Auditor General of India)

Candidates must have passed 12th Standard in the Science stream with Mathematics as a subject from a recognized Board or equivalent.

There is no restriction on the number of attempts for the SSC CHSL exam.
