🔔 Overview

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) will conduct the Sub-Inspector in Delhi Police and Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs) Examination, 2025. Applications are invited online only at ssc.gov.in from 26 September 2025 to 16 October 2025. Both male and female candidates are eligible.

📌 Eligibility Criteria

  • Nationality: Indian citizen, or subject of Nepal/Bhutan with Govt. of India eligibility certificate.

  • Age Limit (as on 01.08.2025): 20–25 years (born between 02.08.2000 and 01.08.2005).

    • OBC: +3 yrs | SC/ST: +5 yrs | Ex-Servicemen: as per rules.

  • Educational Qualification:

    • Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university.

    • Male candidates for SI in Delhi Police must have a valid LMV Driving License (Motorcycle & Car) at the time of PE&MT.

  • Other Requirements: Must qualify physical standards and medical tests.

💰 Pay Scale

  • Level-6 (₹35,400 – ₹1,12,400)

  • Group ‘B’ (Non-Gazetted) for CAPFs

  • Group ‘C’ for Delhi Police

📚 Exam Scheme

Stages of Selection:

  1. Paper-I (CBE) – 200 marks

    • Reasoning (50), GK/GA (50), Quant (50), English (50) – 2 hrs

    • Negative marking: 0.25 per wrong answer

    • NCC Certificate holders get bonus marks.

  2. PET/PST – Qualifying

    • Height, chest, race, long jump, high jump, shot put (for males).

    • Race, long jump, high jump (for females).

  3. Paper-II (CBE) – 200 marks

    • English Language & Comprehension (200 Qs, 2 hrs).

  4. Medical Examination (DME/RME) – Qualifying

  5. Document Verification & Final Merit – Based on Paper-I + Paper-II (with bonus marks).

📝 Application Process

  1. Register through One-Time Registration (OTR) at ssc.gov.in.

  2. Fill the online application form carefully.

  3. Capture real-time photograph as per SSC guidelines.

  4. Upload signature in JPEG (10–20 KB).

  5. Pay fee ₹100 (Women/SC/ST/ESM exempt).

  6. Submit and download the application copy.

📌 Key Instructions for Candidates

  • Apply early to avoid last-day technical issues.

  • Male candidates for Delhi Police must have a valid LMV license before PE&MT.

  • All stages (Paper-I, PET/PST, Paper-II, Medical) are mandatory.

  • Admit Cards will be uploaded region-wise on SSC websites only.

  • Tattoos allowed only under Army norms (size & location restrictions).
