The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has officially released the SSC GD Constable Recruitment 2026 notification for recruitment of Constable (GD) in Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs), Secretariat Security Force (SSF) and Rifleman (GD) in Assam Rifles.

This recruitment drive offers a golden opportunity for 10th pass candidates aspiring to serve the nation in uniform. A total of 25,487 vacancies have been announced across various forces and categories.

🎓 Educational Qualification

  • ✅ Candidate must have passed Matriculation (10th Class)

  • 📅 Qualification should be completed on or before 01 January 2026

  • 🎖️ NCC Certificate holders get bonus marks:

    • NCC ‘C’ – 5%

    • NCC ‘B’ – 3%

    • NCC ‘A’ – 2%

🎂 Age Limit (As on 01-01-2026)

  • Minimum Age: 18 Years

  • Maximum Age: 23 Years

  • Date of Birth should be between 02-01-2003 to 01-01-2008

The recruitment process includes:

  1. 🖥️ Computer Based Examination (CBE)

  2. 🏃 Physical Efficiency Test (PET)

  3. 📏 Physical Standard Test (PST)

  4. 🩺 Medical Examination

For Female Candidates
 

  • 🏃‍♀️ 1.6 km in 8½ minutes

(Different standards apply for Ladakh region candidates)

📏 Physical Standards (PST)

Height

  • 👨 Male: 170 cm

  • 👩 Female: 157 cm

🔹 Height relaxations are applicable for ST, NE states & specific regions

Chest (Male Only)

  • Unexpanded: 80 cm

  • Expansion: 5 cm

💳 Application Fee

  • 💵 ₹100/-

  • ❌ Fee Exempted for:
