📌 Eligibility Criteria

Candidate must be a Government servant belonging to participating services/cadres.
🔹 Educational Qualification

As per service rules, candidates must be regularly appointed Stenographer Grade “D” in their respective service.
🔹 Service-wise Eligibility (as on 01 July 2025)

Central Secretariat Stenographers Service (CSSS):
Minimum 6 years approved service as Steno Grade “D” -
Indian Foreign Service (B) Stenographers:
Minimum 6 years approved service (5 years for certain existing employees) -
Armed Forces Headquarters Stenographers Service:
Minimum 3 years approved and continuous service -
Railway Board Secretariat Stenographers Service:
Minimum 6 years approved service -
Election Commission of India Stenographers Service:
Minimum 3 years approved service -
Central Vigilance Commission:
Minimum 5 years regular service as Steno Grade “D”
