🔔 Stage Overview

Candidates who qualify the written examination are called for:

  1. Physical Standards Test (PST)

  2. Physical Efficiency Test (PET)

These stages are qualifying in nature but mandatory.


📏 Physical Standards (PST)

🔹 Height Requirement

🔹 Chest Measurement (Male Only)

Expansion 5 cm minimum

🔹 Weight

  • Proportionate to height

  • Assessed as per medical standards


🏃 Physical Efficiency Test (PET)

🔹 For Male Candidates

Event Standard
100 Meter Race 16 Seconds
800 Meter Race 3 Minutes 45 Seconds
Long Jump 3.5 Meters (3 chances)
Shot Put (7.26 kg) 4.5 Meters

100 Meter Race 18 Seconds
800 Meter Race 4 Minutes 45 Seconds
Long Jump 3.0 Meters (3 chances)

⚠️ Important PET Rules

  • PET is qualifying only

  • No second attempt for failed events

  • Pregnancy at the time of PET leads to temporary disqualification

  • Candidates declared unfit can appeal as per rules


🩺 Medical Standards (Brief Note)

After PET & Interview, candidates undergo a detailed medical examination assessing:

  • Vision standards

  • Hearing ability

  • Musculoskeletal fitness

  • Absence of deformities or chronic diseases
